Terms of Service
Last updated October 2, 2026
These terms apply to your use of YardScale’s website, app and the pages we host for the businesses we work with (together, the “services”). By using the services you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
The services
YardScale provides tools that help home-service businesses attract, qualify, book and communicate with customers, including hosted pages, forms, scheduling, messaging, calling, automations, reporting, integrations and related features. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
If your business has a separate written agreement with us, that agreement controls where it differs from these terms.
Accounts
Access to the app is by invitation. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure, for activity under your account and for keeping your information accurate. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
Business responsibilities
If you use the services for your business, you are responsible for:
- Having the rights and permissions needed for the information, content and contacts you bring into the services.
- Getting any required consent before contacting people by text, call or email, honoring opt-outs, and following the laws and carrier, platform and advertising rules that apply to your messages and ads.
- The accuracy of your offers, pricing, availability and other content shown to your customers.
- The work you perform and your relationship with your customers.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law, infringe others’ rights, or send spam or misleading messages.
- Upload harmful code or interfere with the security or operation of the services.
- Access accounts, data or areas you are not allowed to access.
- Copy, resell or reverse engineer the services except as the law allows.
- Use the services to harass anyone or to collect information without permission.
If you are a customer of a business using YardScale
When you request a quote, book an appointment or message a business through our pages, you are dealing with that business, not with YardScale. That business is responsible for its services, pricing, scheduling and communications with you. Submitting a request does not guarantee an appointment, price or result.
Third-party services
The services work with outside providers, such as messaging, email, calling, payment, calendar, advertising, data and AI services. Your use of those providers may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
Fees and payment
Paid features are billed as described in your order, plan or agreement. You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the payment method on file. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable and do not include taxes.
Your content and our property
You keep ownership of the content and data you provide. You give us permission to host, use and process it to provide and improve the services. The services, including our software, design and branding, belong to YardScale and its licensors, and these terms do not give you any ownership of them. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.
Automated and AI features
Some features use automation or AI to suggest, score, draft or summarize information. Their output may be incomplete or wrong, so review it before relying on it.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access to the services if you break these terms, if required by law, or to protect the services or others. You may stop using the services at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination will continue.
Disclaimers
The services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the services will be uninterrupted or error free, or that they will produce any particular number of leads, appointments or sales.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, YardScale will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid us for the services in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold YardScale harmless from claims arising from your content, your use of the services, your communications with others or your breach of these terms or the law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where YardScale is based, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts of that state, unless your agreement with us says otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the date above when we do, and continuing to use the services after that means you accept the updated terms.
